February 1st - Cold and Dry
by Darren Sherburne 02/01/2022
Welcome to February, a month that includes a hallmark holiday, a call to equality and recognition of the past, and a potential transition into warmer weather or a continuation of the cold that we've experienced these last few weeks.
The end of January has been quite busy. I've been fortunate to assist three buyers either purchase their first home or additional property, as well as putting three listings under contract for my sellers. Time flies when you're having fun, and the last few weeks of January might as well have been a few days as far as my brain is concerned.
As we move towards (hopefully) warmer weather, it's time to start thinking about getting our seedlings growing for our eventual gardens. If your windows happen to be on the colder side, a small grow-light is a great addition to create a climate capable of hosting plant life. If caring for plants isn't your thing, find some fake plants that look almost real. It's amazing how the addition of even a few "plants" to a living space can brighten your mood and the space itself.
I'm so fortunate to be able to work in a business where I connect with great people on a daily basis and assist in one of their life's changes. Real Estate is highly personal, and if you or anyone you know are looking to even talk about Real Estate, I'm happy to give my time and experience. Things are moving quickly, but purchasing a home is not out of reach. It just takes someone who knows how the business flows to guide you to the closing table. If you have property to sell, I'd be happy to discuss pricing and marketing strategy with you.
On a personal note, congratulations to my amazing fiancé Kate, as she moves through her final pre-requisite to enter Creighton's pharmacist program!
