Welcome to December

by Darren Sherburne 12/01/2021

Am I the only one that always looks back on the month prior and asks "where the heck did that time go?"

It's only when we look back on the previous weeks that we realize that our time indeed WAS well spent, but there never feels like there's enough days in the month to accomplish what we had planned. Once you start throwing holidays and their intricacies in there, the whole thing  gets turned upside down. Here's hoping that all of my contacts and close friends have had a happy Thanksgiving and were able to enjoy some healthy and safe time with their families.

We've had a very busy November in Real Estate. The lack of inventory and amount of qualified buyers is resulting in heavy interest in appropriately priced properties. The falling of snow has previously deterred buyers from actively searching in the Upper Valley and orthern reaches, this year is suprisingly similar to the year prior. Buyers from southern markets are still recognizing the Upper Valley as a location conducive to a happy and healthy lifestyle and are travelling to see properties from as far as New York/Maine or even out west.

December is looking to be another busy month. Personally, my first week of the month is looking to be one of the busiest that I've had in a while with inspections and other contract obligations from the deals we've been putting together in November.

With how active the market is, now is the time to nudge if you have family or friends that are considering looking to enter the Real Estate foray in either a Buying or Selling capacity. November yielded multiple contracts for friends or connections that I've known. I'm happy to help, feel free to reach out at any time.
