“All things seem possible in May.”
— Edwin Way Teale

“May, more than any other month of the year, wants us to feel most alive.”
— Fennel Hudson

I couldn't choose between the two quotes above, they both resonated with me this morning. The possibilities that the coming month contain are vast and I couldn't be happier to be doing what I'm doing. I have a new listing that has come on the market today and several others that are in the queue for the coming month. The market is hot and properly priced properties are moving quickly. If you've been thinking of selling, there doesn't appear to be a better time than now.

It's a time to have all of your ducks in a row as a buyer, but even a perfectly organized buyer can be superseded by a cleaner or higher priced offer. While this has been happening for the past few years, many of my buyers have eventually found their way into a comfortable home. Persistence is key, and something may come along that's a perfect fit for you and not many other parties. The preparation is the most important part, having your ability to purchase all in order and some closing costs set aside with a little cushion. Home ownership is a journey, and the search is an important part of that venture.

My wife and I made some major changes to our household in the month of April. We put down 500 SqFt of vinyl hard-plank flooring in our living, dining and kitchen, and then had a majority of the same space painted. We used two professionals that I recommend regularly and we couldn't be happier with their work. In that same regard, the spring project list seems to get longer by the day. The weather is not at all cooperating with us, but we do the best we can with what we're provided. I'm mainly focused on sunny skies for some photography projects that are needed, but once I figure out how to control the weather, I imagine those tasks will have already been accomplished by perseverance.

That's the word of the month, and I feel that this month especially shows how nature refreshes itself each year. I can't wait to get my property spruced up and to show the stages of various projects that Kate, myself and others have planned for our lot. Please don't hesitate to reach out if I can be of assistance in any way. No matter how busy I am, I always have time for your call.
