Personal Post - April 2023 - Easter Sunday

by Darren Sherburne 04/09/2023

“The sun was warm but the wind was chill / You know how it is with an April day / When the sun is out and the wind is still / You’re one month on in the middle of May.” – Robert Frost

If you celebrate, Happy Easter, if not, I hope you're enjoying the holiday weekend. The wind has certainly been a topic of conversation over the past few weeks, some pretty intense gusts that have been manipulating objects outdoors and carrying them into adjacent yards or into roadways. At our house in particular, we have a large number of the floral arrangements that have been carried from the neighboring cemetery into our backyard and into the Oxbow High School property. We've been collecting them and respectfully discarding them, as there's no way of knowing which arrangement came from which plot.

On that pleasant note, the spring market has been heating up! Several buyers have found homes and put them under contract, multiple transactions have seen their conclusions (and congratulations to all) and new listings are in the works! Kate and I have been keeping ourselves busy with a bit of travel, necessary coursework for our careers, and a 500 sqft floor remodel that took three and a half days to complete. All in all, our home has never felt cozier, and I look forward to the warmer months allowing us to keep the windows open.

I've attached multiple photos of our bunny, Maple, who lives in our laundry room and has a pretty sweet little life. He's our Easter mascot.
We'll be having a family gathering this evening, our family celebrates the traditional holidays whenever possible.

Please don't hesitate to reach out if I can be of assistance in any way, and check out the content I'm producing between Facebook, TikTok, and Youtube.
