Here it is! The start to a new year, and its... warm? Our weather in the Upper Valley has been tumultuous lately, shifting between torrential snowfall followed by severe winds, to a strange amalgamation between spring and winter. We're nowhere near the end of winter, to be clear, so keep wearing your winter clothing to keep yourselves healthy. Sicknesses other than COVID have been racing through our communities, and while I'm no health professional, I recognize the part of myself that wants to shed the layers and run around in a T-shirt when the weather warms above 40 degrees. I've learned after continuously failing to avoid a cold or some other illness from this ignorance, therefore I'm sharing from my own experiences.
New Years Eve was spent with Kate's family in Piermont, NH. It was a great time, and we surely missed the ball dropping as our daily schedules have shifted away from midnight hour festivities. I'm incredibly thankful for the family and friends that I have, and I value each and every one immensely. I've been fortunate to develop and establish a career where in my home town area, and that allows me to spend a lot of time working for and with the people that I've known for a majority of my life. Real Estate is a business of people, properties, and transactions between the two groups. I've been able to work with and represent some wonderful people over the past 2 1/2 years of working in this sector, and I look forward to further developing those relationships in the coming years through my continued community involvement and work in the region. Cheers to the next 364!
We're experiencing a much more typical holiday "slow-down" than the last 24 months have allowed for, but as we move into some regularly scheduled programming, I look forward to the grindstone spinning back up and my nose being pressed against it. I've been so deep "in the trenches" that my content production took a back-seat, but I'm looking forward to re-approaching that element of my business as the seasons allow. My website has been a great tool for collecting valuable information, and I plan to flesh that out further.
I have some exciting topics of discussion for the coming months, one of them being the revised Riverbend Career & Technical Center's "EXPO" that I'm assisting with through the Cohase Chamber of Commerce. Our region never disappoints, especially if you know where to look. As always, if I can ever be of assistance, please don't hesitate to reach out.
